Manchester City have played down Sergio Aguero's possible return from injury for this weekend's game at Stoke City.
The striker recently started training again after spending three weeks out with a knee injury that he picked up during the opening weekend of the new season.
However, the Premier League champions have admitted that Saturday's match at the Britannia Stadium may be out of the Argentine's reach.
"Whether Stoke is too soon for a return or not remains to be seen," read a club statement.
Aguero scored 30 goals in all competitions for the Blues last season.
