Manchester City have unveiled their brand-new PUMA home kit for the 2024-25 season.
The Citizens are hoping to end the current campaign on a high and win their final Premier League fixture at home against West Ham United on Sunday to clinch a record fourth consecutive title, before facing rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final later this month.
Pep Guardiola's men will be focused fully on those remaining two fixtures, but that has not stopped those behind the scenes at Man City from putting plans in place for the future both on and off the pitch.
Three months ahead of the start of the new Premier League season, Man City have released their new home kit that will be worn by all men's and women's sides representing the club.
Man City release '0161' inspired kit
The sky-blue kit design is inspired by the club's Mancunian roots and features threads of the city's 0161 dialling code in the shirt's trim.
"Every year our kits provide us with an opportunity to connect with our fans in Manchester, the UK and globally, as shirts and wider kit collections, are an increasingly popular token of fandom," Serena Gosling, Man City's Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing, told the club's website.
"By incorporating '0161' in this year's home kit - something that resonates so strongly with the City of Manchester - we're able to connect fans around the world with the club and our city in a different way.
"We're also pleased that all of our Replica shirts are made using PUMA's RE:FIBRE initiative, as we continue to work towards a more sustainable future together."
Man City say their new kit is made with "cutting-edge technology to provide maximum comfort and the highest performance on the pitch".
The new home shirt is available in both Replica and Authentic versions; the Replica jersey is made with RE:FIBRE recycling technology and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste, while the Authentic shirt - one worn by the players - is made with PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE fabric to reduce weight and friction, and provide an athletic fit for elite-level performance.
In addition, Man City and PUMA have revealed that in a first of its kind campaign, their new kit will feature on the hugely popular online video game Fortnite and its gamer-built Creator Worlds.
The Citizens new kit is now available to purchase at the Etihad Stadium and Arndale Centre City stores, and well as on the club's official website. body check tags ::
