Manchester City are reportedly set to let Leroy Sane leave for free next summer, rather than sell him on the cheap to long-term admirers Bayern Munich.
The winger currently has just one year left on his contract with the Citizens - and the Bundesliga giants are keen to sign the 24-year-old ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to the Daily Mail, City will refuse to let the Germany international leave for anything below their asking price after reports from Germany claimed that Bayern were planning to bid just £35m for the star.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly happy to include Sane in City's squad next season, with a contract extension still on the table.
Sane's new agent has recently revealed that Bayern are the only German club he would consider joining.
The winger has been forced out of action this campaign after suffering anterior knee ligament damage in the Community Shield last August.
