Fulham left-back John Arne Riise has insisted that the West London club have what it takes to upset Manchester City when the two sides meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Six defeats from seven Premier League games has seen Fulham slip to 19th and while few would expect the Cottagers to pick up anything from the game Riise said that they would be playing to win.
"It's not a game people will expect us to win but we're prepared to go out to try to get the victory," Riise told the club's official website. "We want to go off the pitch on Saturday having given our all.
"City isn't an easy game and the three games after that [against Norwich City, Hull City and West Ham United] are probably bigger for us as they're against teams around us in the table. Those three games are massive but we'll certainly be aiming to cause an upset against City."
Fulham's only win under head coach Rene Meulensteen was against Aston Villa.
