Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has praised teammate Riyad Mahrez for settling back into the club after handing in a transfer request.
Mahrez, who was the subject of a deadline-day bid from Manchester City, missed two games and six training sessions after a move away from the King Power Stadium failed to materialise for the Algerian in January.
Morgan has said, however, that the midfielder's response to his period of absence has been "fantastic".
"He's a good player – he's getting straight back into it and I was glad to see him out there," the centre-back told the Leicester Mercury.
"I think he looked more like himself. Everyone knows what's happened after the transfer window but he has come in and got straight back to work.
"He's always been focused. He's been great – he's settled back in as if he never went away so it's fantastic for us and it's fantastic for him."
Leicester are eighth in the Premier League table after 28 games this season.
