How Manchester City could line up against Crystal Palace

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Manchester City have no fresh injury concerns to report ahead of Saturday's Premier League battle with Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side continue to cope without Ferran Torres due to the attacker's foot fracture, while Benjamin Mendy remains suspended as he awaits trial in January of next year.

The Citizens made a raft of changes for their EFL Cup defeat to West Ham United in midweek and will recall their big-hitters here, starting with Ederson replacing Zack Steffen in goal.

Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo both got 45 minutes of action apiece at the London Stadium and ought to start in the full-back areas, while John Stones and Nathan Ake are set to make way for the returning Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte.

Thirty-six-year-old Fernandinho enjoyed a rare start in the EFL Cup but is set to drop out for Rodri this weekend, and the same can be said for Ilkay Gundogan as Bernardo Silva returns to the side.

Kevin De Bruyne should be one of the few faces to hold his spot in the first XI for Guardiola's 200th Premier League game in charge, as Phil Foden leads the line after his two-goal showing against Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.

Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling should both take their spots on the bench to accommodate the returning Jack Grealish and Gabriel Jesus - the latter of whom has had a direct hand in nine goals in his last nine top-flight starts.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne; Jesus, Foden, Grealish body check tags ::
