January signing Aymeric Laporte has only been named on the Manchester City bench for the Premier League fixture at Burnley.
City boss Pep Guardiola gave the defender an immediate debut against West Bromwich Albion in midweek, but the former Athletic Bilbao player is only among the replacements for the short trip to Clarets.
Guardiola has opted to only name six substitutes - rather than promote a youth team prospect - with Fabian Delph, David Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden all on the sidelines.
Danilo and Ilkay Gundogan have been brought into the team as replacements for Oleksandr Zinchenko and Silva, while John Stones remains out through illness.
As for Burnley, Aaron Lennon has been given his first start since completing a move from Everton, while Sam Vokes is named in attack.
Midfield pair Ashley Westwood and Scott Arfield have both dropped down to the bench.
