Bayern Munich are reportedly still interested in signing Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane despite the Germany international's cruciate ligament injury.
Sane was strongly linked with a switch to the Allianz Arena before picking up a serious knee injury during the Community Shield against Chelsea earlier this month.
The 23-year-old has since undergone surgery to correct the problem, but a recent report claimed that the attacker was hopeful of returning to action before the end of the season.
According to The Mirror, Bayern are still interested in agreeing a deal for Sane before the European transfer window closes on Monday, with the Bundesliga champions set to make one final offer.
The German has entered the final two years of his contract with Pep Guardiola's side, and it is understood that he is not currently prepared to pen an extension.
Sane has scored 39 times and registered 45 assists in 134 appearances for the Citizens in all competitions since arriving from Schalke 04 in August 2016.
