Newcastle United, Southampton and Bournemouth all reportedly had loan bids for Phil Foden turned down by Manchester City during the January transfer window.
Foden, who came through the youth system at City, is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in English football.
The midfielder has already played on 29 occasions for City's first team, with 19 of those appearances coming during the 2018-19 campaign.
According to The Sun, Premier League trio Newcastle, Southampton and Bournemouth all tried to sign the 18-year-old on loan last month, but the Citizens were not prepared to sanction a deal.
Foden, who has made eight Premier League appearances this season, has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
