Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata has agreed a deal to sign for Celtic, according to reports.
The 24-year-old was photographed at Glasgow Airport this evening with Celtic scout John Park, and the player's father has confirmed that he has signed for a British club.
"It is clear he won't stay at Manchester City and he does not want to stay. They want to extend his contract, but he won't play," Bienvenu Boyata told a Belgian television programme.
"A certain club has shown interest in Dedryck and has reached agreement with City and it will be made official next week.
"What club? I can't say, but let's just say he will remain in Britain."
The Daily Record claim that Boyata will join Celtic imminently for a fee of £1m.
