Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly determined to bring Sandro Tonali to the club.
The 19-year-old played a key role in Brescia earning promotion from Serie B last season, while he has also impressed in Italy's top flight during the 2019-20 campaign.
Both Manchester United and Juventus are thought to be interested in the midfielder, who has a transfer value of £259m, according to Brescia president Massimo Cellino.
However, according to Fichajes.net, City are also admirers of the teenager, with the English club's head coach Guardiola viewing him as the ideal signing in the middle of the park.
Tonali, who has scored once and provided two assists in 12 Serie A appearances for Brescia this season, will see his current deal at Stadio Mario Rigamonti expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
City spent big on Rodri in last summer's transfer window, but the Premier League champions will lose experienced midfielder David Silva ahead of next season.
