Manchester City have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Girona winger Savio from parent club Troyes.
After joining Girona on loan from Troyes last summer, Savio has gone on to make a name for himself in the Spanish top flight.
The Brazilian has featured in 22 of Girona's 23 league games, scoring five goals and providing seven assists to help his side mount a surprise title bid.
Despite having a contract with Troyes until June 2027, Savio's impressive performances for Girona have led to significant interest.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have agreed a deal with the French club to sign Savio on a permanent deal this summer.
Man City have seemingly utilised their links with Troyes and Girona, with all three clubs under the City Football Group umbrella.
Savio was believed to be the subject of bids from clubs in Germany and England, but Man City have seemingly won the race to secure his signature.
While a fee has not been disclosed, a previous report suggested that the European champions could sign the 19-year-old for as little as £10m.
The necessary paperwork will be signed in the coming days to make the transfer official for the summer transfer window.
Savio was part of the youth setup at Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro, where he went on to make 35 appearances for the first team.
After completing a move to Troyes in the summer of 2022, Savio was immediately sent out on loan to Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.
The teenager experienced a difficult time with the Dutch giants, as he failed to make a single start in eight competitive matches.
With Savio currently enjoying a successful loan spell with Girona, he is set to leave Troyes without making a single appearance for the Ligue 2 club.
The attacker will be hoping to play a key role in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Girona are currently sitting in second place in La Liga with two points separating them from Carlo Ancelotti's side. body check tags ::
