Manchester City are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony.
Champions City are believed to be in the market for a new centre-forward, having had injury concerns over Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic for large parts of the campaign so far.
It has been widely suggested that 26-year-old Bony was Citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini's main target this January and the Chilean is now close to securing the Ivorian's services, according to Sky Sports News.
The report added that the deal, thought to be worth £30m, could be concluded swiftly, with Bony due to join up with his international teammates for the Africa Cup of Nations in the near future.
It was reported by The Telegraph yesterday that Bony had informed Swansea of his desire to leave the club.
