Inaki Williams and Nico Williams are expected to return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Barcelona.
The Williams brothers were among a number of key players who were left out of the starting lineup for Saturday's Copa del Rey clash with Logrones.
Athletic boss Ernesto Valverde opted to hand starting opportunities to a number of fringe members of his squad for the third-round clash, which went all the way to penalties where Los Leones held their nerve to reach the last 16.
While Valverde is set to make several changes for Wednesday's Spanish Super Cup clash, he may have to cope without the services of Yeray Alvarez, Oihan Sancet and Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta, who are all struggling with injury issues.
Unai Simon is set to get the nod over Julen Agirrezabala in goal, while Dani Vivian will come into the backline to form a centre-back pairing with Aitor Paredes.
Oscar de Marcos and Andoni Gorosabel are vying for the right-back spot, with the former likely to edge out his teammate to start on the opposite side of left-back, Yuri Berchiche, who will come back into the side after dropping down to the bench at the weekend.
Mikel Jauregizar and Benat Prados are expected to feature in the middle of the park, with Alex Berenguer poised to operate in the number 10 role if Sancet fails to prove his fitness in time for Wednesday's semi-final.
Inaki Williams, who has registered eight goals and five assists in 25 appearances this season, will provide the attacking threat from Athletic's right flank, while his brother, Nico, will line up on the left wing against the club that he was heavily linked with in the summer.
Gorka Guruzeta is set to lead the line in the semi-final clash, with the striker hoping to add to the six goals that he has scored this season.
Athletic Bilbao possible starting lineup:
Simon; De Marcos, Vivian, Paredes, Berchiche; Jauregizar, Prados; I. Williams, Berenguer, N. Williams; Guruzeta
