Manchester City have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Isco as a potential future signing and feel that the Spaniard can be persuaded to move to the Etihad Stadium.
Isco has not always been regarded as first choice at the Bernabeu, but the 25-year-old has recently emerged as one of Zinedine Zidane's key men and penned a long-term contract last month.
However, according to Don Balon, City remain confident that they can secure the signature of the Spaniard at some point in the future.
City would be unable to meet Isco's release clause - which stands at £637m - but there is currently a belief that the signing of the former Malaga man can be completed while Pep Guardiola is still at the club.
Real have endured a poor start to the season but statistically, Isco has been their best performer in La Liga with three goals and three assists from 10 appearances.
