Manchester City have reportedly retained an interest in securing the signature of Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell.
The England international recently penned a new long-term contract at the King Power Stadium, having established himself as the club's first-choice left-back.
However, according to the London Evening Standard, City boss Pep Guardiola continues to consider an approach for the 22-year-old due to the fitness concerns regarding Benjamin Mendy.
The Frenchman has suffered two serious injuries since moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2017, limiting the player to just 20 appearances in all competitions.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabian Delph have also filled in at left-back this season.
