Manchester City reportedly remain interested in signing Ben Chilwell from Leicester City, but the Premier League champions will hold off from making a move until next summer.
The Citizens are said to be looking to strengthen the left side of their defence because of Benjamin Mendy's injury struggles, restricting him to just 13 Premier League starts since joining the club in July 2017.
Chilwell recently emerged as a possible target for City after shining for Leicester, leading to his first England senior cap in the win over Switzerland in September.
Leicester value their academy product at around the £50m mark, but the Daily Mail suggests that Pep Guardiola's men have not been put off by that hefty price tag, with a transfer still on the cards ahead of next season.
Guardiola has repeatedly insisted that Man City do not intend to do any business in the January window.
