Manchester City are preparing to submit a £25m offer for Lille attacker Eden Hazard, according to the player's agent.
The Belgian international has attracted interest from a number of European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
However, it now appears that City have stolen a march on their rivals for the 20-year-old's signature.
"There is much talk of an offer of £25m from Manchester City, which will see him remain at Lille for the next six months," agent Marc Fourmeux told AS.
"His future is in any case destined for a big European club like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City, AC Milan, Inter or Juventus.
"For Hazard, the president of Lille wants to receive €40m while the player himself has declared that he wants to play for Madrid."
Hazard joined French champions Lille as a trainee in 2005.
