Manchester City have reportedly stepped up their interest in Angers full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The 18-year-old has broken into the first team at Angers this season, making 17 Ligue 1 appearances and attracting interest from the Premier League as a result.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace have been linked with an approach for the youngster, but Tuttomercatoweb reports that it is Man City who have made the first move.
Pep Guardiola's side have reportedly begun talks over a deal which would see them sign Ait-Nouri this summer but then send him out on loan to a La Liga club for the 2020-21 season.
Left-back has been something of a problem area for Man City in recent years, with first-choice Benjamin Mendy suffering a string of injuries since his arrival at the club.
However, Angers are in no rush to sell the France Under-21 international, who only agreed a new three-year contract at the start of this week.
