Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a January bid for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.
Aguero became City's all-time leading goalscorer when he registered in their 4-2 win over Napoli in the Champions League last week.
The Argentine also netted against Arsenal in the Premier League at the weekend to take his total to 179 goals for the Citizens.
Despite Aguero's standing in Manchester, it is understood that the South American is considering his future, and according to Le 10 Sport, Real believe that they can tempt the striker back to Spain.
The report claims that Madrid's goal troubles this season will force them into the January market, and president Florentino Perez is confident that he can pull off a spectacular deal for the 29-year-old.
Aguero scored 101 goals in 234 appearances for Real's bitter rivals Atletico Madrid before moving to City in the summer of 2011.
