Manchester City have reportedly joined Arsenal, Juventus and Napoli in the race to sign Atalanta BC's teenage midfielder Franck Kessie, who has scored four goals in five Serie A matches this season.
The 19-year-old, who was strongly linked with a move to Sunderland in the summer transfer window, revealed earlier this month that he wants to represent Manchester United in the future.
It is understood that Man United are currently not interested in Kessie, but his agent recently claimed that Arsenal had scouted the Ivory Coast international last week.
According to The Express, Man City boss Pep Guardiola is also a strong admirer of the defensive midfielder and could launch a bid in the January transfer window.
The teenager started his professional career with Stella Club in Ivory Coast, before making the move to Atalanta in 2015. Last season, Kessie scored four league goals during a loan spell with Cesena.
