West Ham United and Sunderland are both interested in signing Manchester City defender Micah Richards, according to a report.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order at the Citizens and is looking for a move away from the club to revive his career.
Gus Poyet's side are interested in a loan deal for the 26-year-old to bolster their defensive options, but will now face competition on deadline day from the Hammers, reports the Daily Mail.
Richards has made 11 appearances for City in all competitions under Manuel Pellegrini.
