Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is reportedly keen to make the move to Real Madrid.
The 33-year-old has again been in excellent form for Bayern during the 2021-22 campaign, finding the back of the net on 13 occasions in 10 appearances in all competitions.
Lewandowski's future at the Allianz Arena continues to be called into question, though, with his contract due to expire in June 2023, and Manchester City have been strongly linked with his services.
However, according to AS, the Poland international wants to join Real Madrid and will ask Bayern to let him move to the Spanish giants in 2022.
Lewandowski has scored 307 goals and registered 66 assists in 339 appearances for his current club since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in July 2014.
Los Blancos are expected to be in the market for a new striker next summer and continue to be credited with an interest in Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are also seemingly still determined to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, with the France international currently available on a free transfer next year. body check tags ::
