Roma are interested in bringing Manchester City utility man James Milner to the Italian capital, reports suggest.
The 28-year-old England international could follow former teammate Ashley Cole, who made the move to Serie A after being released by Chelsea in the summer.
Milner has not managed to establish himself as a regular under Manuel Pellegrini, being used as a stop-gap in a number of positions.
According to the Daily Star, the ex-Newcastle and Aston Villa man is now stalling on signing a new contract at the Etihad Stadium with a view to leaving the club on a cut-price deal in the January window in search of first-team football.
Petr Cech, another of Ashley Cole's former teammates, has also been linked with a move to Roma this week.
