Experienced Frenchman Samir Nasri has left Manchester City to join Sevilla on a season-long loan deal.
Sevilla emerged as the favourites to sign the 29-year-old earlier this week and the Spanish club's sporting director Monchi confirmed that the deal was close to being completed when questioned on Wednesday morning.
Both Sevilla and Man City have now confirmed the loan on their official Twitter accounts, with Nasri due to spend the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign with the La Liga outfit and current Europa League holders.
Nasri, who started his professional career at Marseille before making the move to Arsenal, joined Man City in the summer of 2011 and has won two Premier League titles during his time at the Etihad.
