Carlos Tevez has returned to training with Manchester City at their Carrington training base.

The Argentinian striker had been granted extended leave following the Copa America last month.

Tevez, 27, announced earlier in the summer that he wanted a move away from the club after finding it increasingly difficult to live apart from his children.

Inter Milan have now emerged as the favourites to sign Tevez after a move to Corinthians failed to materialise before the Brazilian transfer window closed.

His future however remains in doubt and he has now flown back and returned to Eastlands.
