Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has described the second leg of his side's Champions League last-16 tie with Real Madrid as "extra-special".
The two teams meet at Old Trafford on Tuesday having drawn the first leg 1-1 in the Spanish capital on February 13.
"The big European nights at home are always special occasions and, when Madrid come to town, it will be extra-special," Carrick told UEFA's official website.
"At this stage of the competition, when two teams like this come together, sometimes it can be very tight and games can be won and lost on little details."
Carrick has scored one goal in four European appearances for United this season.
