Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has hailed teenage forward Anthony Martial for his strong start to life at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old has scored five times for Man United this season since making a big-money move from AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
Ahead of Tuesday's Champions League Group B match against CSKA Moscow, Carrick has claimed that Martial's start to life in England has been "incredible".
"It is a big step to come to this club and play. For a young lad to come over and start like he has is incredible really. We have to be careful not to expect too much because he is going to have ups and downs, but the signs are very positive," Carrick said at a press conference alongside head coach Louis van Gaal.
Martial, whose transfer figure could reach close to £60m, has largely been deployed in a wide left position for Man United this season.
