Rio Ferdinand has insisted that the Manchester United defenders are fully aware of the threat that Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling could pose to them tomorrow evening.
The 29-year-old has scored 10 goals in his 17 appearances so far this season, two of which have come in the Champions League.
Ahead of the match at the BayArena, Ferdinand has admitted that his teammates will have to be on their guard.
"He has good movement and we watched a lot of videos on him before [the game at Old Trafford] so we knew a lot of the dangers he posed," he told reporters.
"He's scored a lot of goals over in Germany in the past few seasons so we know we have to be on our toes to make sure he doesn't get many chances because he's definitely capable of finishing them."
The first group encounter between the two sides ended in a 4-2 victory for United.
