Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has insisted that Real Madrid have a number of players who can "hurt" his side during the Champions League meeting between the two clubs.
Many pundits have tipped former United attacker and current Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo to be the difference between the two teams, starting with tomorrow's first leg in the Bernabeu.
However, despite admitting that Ronaldo is Madrid's most dangerous player, Ferdinand is adamant that Los Blancos have plenty of other options.
"We're going to have to use all of our experience, courage and ability to make sure we stop not only Ronaldo but all of them as Real are a great team," he told MUTV. "They have got so many other weapons.
"We could shut Ronaldo down for 90 minutes and the game finishes but other players will be in there that can still hurt us. So we've got to be compact as a team and work hard."
Ferdinand is expected to start in the United defence alongside captain Nemanja Vidic.
