Pep Guardiola has said that he expects his Bayern Munich side to face Wayne Rooney when they play the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United tomorrow.
The striker missed United's game against Newcastle United with a toe injury at the weekend, and may need an injection in order to be involved at the Allianz Arena.
The German champions' manager told reporters: "He is going to play. 100%. He is going to play I bet you a big, big glass of beer.
"I believe he is going to play, and [Antonio] Valencia too. Rooney is going to play. He is a big player."
Rooney has 18 goals in all competitions so far this season.
