David Moyes says that Manchester United should have beaten Real Sociedad in their Champions League encounter this evening.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has said that his side should have beaten Real Sociedad in their goalless Champions League encounter this evening.

United spurned a number of good chances as Robin van Persie crashed a penalty against the post, while Javier Hernandez spooned over from a few yards out.

"We should have won, we had enough chances. We controlled the game and was the team on top for the majority," Moyes told reporters after the match.

"We had a good chance to go clear in the group tonight and take three points and we should have. You need to take your chances and opportunities when they come but we are still in a good position."

Despite the draw, United still find themselves in a comfortable position at the top of Group A going into their next game away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
