Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes that the club's supporters will "play their part" in helping the Red Devils boot Real Madrid out of the Champions League.
The former Premier League champions welcome the Spanish giants to Old Trafford tonight to fight for a place in the quarter-finals.
"The fans are great especially for the Champions League games," Rooney told the club's official website. "The night games always seem to be a bit more special and I think the crowd always sense when it's a big match and when the players might need the crowd more than in other games.
"The crowd always play their part and, with the atmosphere, it's fantastic to play in so it is a special night."
The last-16 tie currently sits at 1-1 from the first leg at the Bernabeu.
