A brace from Javier Hernandez has helped Manchester United battle back from two goals down to beat Braga at Old Trafford.
Alan gave the visitors a shock lead in the second minute, thumping a header past David de Gea to silence the home crowd.
The Brazilian then doubled his tally with a neat finish in the 20th minute.
Javier Hernandez clawed a goal back for United four minutes later, and then came agonisingly close to levelling the scores.
He nearly got on the end of Robin van Persie's cross, but could not connect and United went into the break trailing.
It was Jonny Evans who got the Red Devils back on level terms when he tapped in from close range on the hour mark.
However, Hernandez was the hero of the hour, grabbing the winner with his second of the game thanks to Tom Cleverley's assist.
Van Persie nearly made it 4-2 late on when he was supplied by Nani, but his shot was too high to trouble Beto.
