Declan Rice confirms that there is "interest from other clubs" in his services ahead of the summer transfer window after leading West Ham United to Europa Conference League glory.

Declan Rice has admitted that there is "interest from other clubs" in his services ahead of the summer transfer window after leading West Ham United to Europa Conference League glory.

The 24-year-old captained the Hammers to a historic 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in Wednesday's final in Prague, with the East Londoners lifting their first European trophy for 58 years.

Rice has been an integral member of David Moyes's side, featuring in 50 matches across all competitions this season, and has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

The England international has subsequently been linked with a host of top European clubs ahead of the 2023-24 campaign including Arsenal, who are believed to be leading the race for his signature as things stand.

Mikel Arteta is said to have identified Rice as his primary midfield target, and the former Chelsea academy graduate has reportedly agreed personal terms over a summer switch to the Emirates Stadium.

However, the Gunners could face stern competition from Manchester United, who are allegedly 'serious contenders' in the race for Rice as Erik ten Hag's looks to bolster his options in the middle of the pitch.

Rice is also a top target for Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel, while Manchester City are another club to have been credited with an interest in the £100m-rated Hammer.

After lifting the Europa Conference League trophy and listening to the West Ham supporters chanting for him to stay for one more year, Rice acknowledged the speculation over his future but has insisted that he still has two years remaining on his West Ham contract.

Speaking to BT Sport, Rice said: "At the moment, there's obviously a lot of speculation going on about my future. Obviously there is interest from other clubs, that's out there.

"But ultimately I've still got two years left [on by contract] at West Ham. I love this club, I love playing for this club, there hasn't been [talks over an exit] yet.

"My focus is playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight and seeing what happens. I'm captain of this club, I absolutely love it to pieces. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Let's just see what happens. Who knows."

David Moyes revealed last month that there is a "good chance" Rice will leave the London Stadium this summer as he seeks to play Champions League football.

The midfielder has made a total of 245 appearances for West Ham in all tournaments since making his professional debut in 2017 and has been voted Hammer of the Year in three of the last four seasons.

Arsenal are expected to intensify their pursuit of Rice and make the first move for the Englishman now that West Ham's successful continental journey has concluded. body check tags ::
