FC Midtjylland chairman Rasmus Ankersen has claimed that the Danish team have a "chance" against Manchester United when the two teams meet in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Louis van Gaal's side dropped into the second-tier European competition after they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg in Germany last Wednesday.
This morning in Nyon, the Red Devils were drawn against Midtjylland, and while the Danish side will head into the clash as underdogs, Ankersen is hopeful that the team can cause an upset.
"We're a small club with a small budget," Ankersen told BT Sport. "We can't win by outspending the competition so we have to out-think them and I think that's why we've been successful competing so far in the Europa League.
"There is not a huge chance for us to beat Manchester United but there is a chance and we'll take up the challenge."
Midtjylland have beaten Southampton already in this season's tournament and previously overcame Manchester City in 2008.
