Manchester United have been left sweating over the fitness of Paul Pogba after the midfielder limped off the pitch in the first half of their 2-1 loss at Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
The 23-year-old picked up a knock when Fenerbahce's Josef de Souza caught him with a knee to his leg, and on the half-hour mark he signalled to the bench that he could not carry on, Zlatan Ibrahimovic taking his place.
According to the official Red Devils website, Pogba could be out of action for Sunday's Premier League trip to Swansea City.
Should the Frenchman's injury be considered long-term, he would join a lengthy absence list, with Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling already on the sidelines.
