Marcus Rashford will be bidding to help Manchester United progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon, with Liverpool heading to Old Trafford in the final eight of the competition.
The England international has had a largely underwhelming season, only managing seven goals and six assists in 34 appearances, but his goalscoring form has improved in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old is again set to be in the Red Devils XI this weekend, and he will be bidding to add to the eight goals that he has managed in the FA Cup during his career.
Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how Rashford has performed against Liverpool during his professional career.
The Red Devils academy product has tackled Liverpool 16 times at first-team level, boasting a record of three wins, seven draws and six defeats, while he has managed six goals and one assist.
Interestingly, Rashford's first action against Liverpool came in the Europa League, playing in both legs of their last-16 tie in 2015-16, but he was unable to help Man United progress, with the Merseyside outfit winning 3-1 on aggregate.
Rashford has also faced Liverpool once in the FA Cup, scoring and providing an assist in a 3-2 home success for the Red Devils in the fourth round of the competition in 2020-21.
As expected, the bulk of his outings against the Reds have come in the Premier League, winning two, drawing six and losing five of 13 appearances versus them in England's top flight, scoring five goals in the process.
All five of Rashford's Premier League goals against Liverpool have come at Old Trafford, including a brace in a 2-1 success for the Red Devils during the 2017-18 campaign.
The forward also netted against the Merseyside team during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons at Old Trafford, in addition to last season, registering in a 2-1 success for Man United.
Rashford played 85 minutes of his side's extraordinary 7-0 loss at Liverpool in the league last term, but he was a second-half substitute in the goalless draw at Anfield earlier this season.
The attacker's six goals and one assist against Liverpool have come at Old Trafford, which should hand him confidence this weekend, as Man United look to secure what would be a huge result in their campaign.
