Kevin Davies has insisted that Preston North End have "half a chance" to beat Manchester United when they meet in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The sides meet at Deepdale on Monday after both overcoming fourth-round replays, with Louis van Gaal's side having already exited a cup competition at the hands of a League One side this season.
The striker told the Manchester Evening News: "I think we have half a chance. We can raise our game and make it difficult for them.
"They are well organised, hard working. I have not watched them that much to say how well they are playing. But one loss in 17 suggests they are doing something right.
"You look on paper and the defence seems to be the weakness. We have attacking threats and we think we can cause them problems."
United needed a replay to beat League Two side Cambridge United in the fourth round.
