Former Manchester United full-back Denis Irwin believes that Louis van Gaal's side are capable of going all the way in the FA Cup this season.
The North-West outfit will take on League Two side Cambridge United on Friday evening for a place in the fifth round of the competition.
The Red Devils, who secured a 2-1 triumph over Yeovil Town in the third round, have not won the Cup since 2004.
When asked by the club's official website if United could go all the way, Irwin said: "I don't see why not. We saw from the Yeovil game how tricky away matches against lower-league opposition can be, but we'll have learned lessons from that.
"So if we can get through on Friday, all of a sudden we're into the fifth round and we'll be starting to fancy it."
The FA Cup and Premier League title are the only trophies available for United to get their hands on this season.
