Manchester United have said that Marcus Rashford "is not well enough" to be in the squad for Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round contest with Newport County.
The 26-year-old did not train with the Red Devils on Friday due to illness, with head coach Erik ten Hag revealing that the forward was a huge doubt for the FA Cup fixture this weekend.
Rashford was spotted at a nightclub in Belfast on Thursday evening, though, and it is understood that he could be facing punishment from Man United due to his conduct.
The forward trained with the 20-time English champions on Wednesday and was also pictured out that evening, before he allegedly flew home via a private jet on Friday morning.
Rashford was unable to train on Friday due to illness, though, and Man United have maintained that the England international "is not well enough" to be involved.
"Rashford is not well enough to be in the squad for Newport following illness; he has stayed at Carrington to train as he recovers," said Man United in a statement.
The forward has found it difficult to show his best form for Man United this season, only managing four goals and six assists in 26 appearances in all competitions.
Rashford has four goals and three assists in 20 Premier League outings, and it remains to be seen whether he is back for Thursday's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ten Hag has named a strong side for Sunday's clash against Newport County, with Casemiro and Luke Shaw both starting after recent absences.
Lisandro Martinez is also in the XI, having made his return off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on January 14.
There is a debut between the sticks for Altay Bayindir, meanwhile, with the Turkey international given a chance to impress due to Andre Onana's presence at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Onana's Cameroon side have now been knocked out of the competition, though, so he could be back for Thursday's Premier League clash with Wolves.
Rasmus Hojlund is Man United's only fit centre-forward due to Anthony Martial's absence, and the Denmark international leads the line for the Premier League side on Sunday.
