Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has declared that he is desperate to add the FA Cup to his list of honours this season.
Vidic has never lifted the famous trophy during his seven-year spell at Old Trafford, with United still waiting for their first FA Cup success at the new Wembley Stadium.
The 31-year-old believes that winning trophies as a team must come above individual success and has vowed to give everything to win the double at Old Trafford this year.
He told The Sun: "My aim before every season is to win a trophy and I want to win the FA Cup.
"You want to be there for the big games and once the season is finished and you are going home or on holiday, you want to see what you have won. That is the thing that has always pushed me.
"A trophy doesn't show I have recovered and I am back. It is more important for me to be part of the team and to feel I am helping it. I am working hard. I am trying to be in the same form as I was before my injury. That is the challenge for me. Winning trophies is about the team, not the individual."
Vidic is in contention to start alongside Rio Ferdinand in central defence this afternoon as United take on Chelsea in a FA Cup quarter-final replay at Stamford Bridge.
