Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Manchester United will be bidding to make it four wins in a row in all competitions when they head to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils recorded a 1-0 victory over West Ham United in the league last weekend before beating Real Sociedad by the same scoreline in the Europa League on Thursday.

However, Erik ten Hag's side did not do enough to top their Europa League group, meaning that the team will have to play a playoff next February to determine whether they will be present in the round of 16.

Man United are currently fifth in the Premier League table, one point behind fourth-placed Newcastle United, who have played a game more than the 20-time English champions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Aston Villa, who currently sit down in 16th position in the division.

Jadon Sancho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Aston Villa)

Jadon Sancho was not involved in Thursday's game with Real Sociedad through illness, but the attacker will be pushing to return to the squad for this contest.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: Unknown

Axel Tuanzebe is still out with a long-term injury, and the defender is not expected to resume training with the Red Devils until January at the earliest.

Anthony Martial

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Aston Villa)

Anthony Martial has been unavailable for selection since suffering a back injury against Everton earlier this month, but he is now back in training and has a chance of featuring this weekend.

Brandon Williams

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: Unknown

Brandon Williams will again miss out against Villa, but the defender has recently been back in training, and he could be back with the first team before the end of the year.

Raphael Varane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 27 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Raphael Varane suffered a hamstring injury against Chelsea last weekend, which will rule him out for the Red Devils until after the World Cup, but he could still feature for France at the tournament.

Antony

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Aston Villa)

Antony was not involved against West Ham or Real Sociedad due to a knock that he picked up in training, but the Brazil international is pushing to back in the squad for this one.

MAN UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Bruno Fernandes

Status: Out
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Aston Villa)

Man United will be missing key attacker Bruno Fernandes through suspension this weekend due to the yellow card that he picked up against West Ham in the league last time out.
