Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sports Mole

Manchester United will be looking to end their 2020-21 Premier League campaign on a positive note when they head to Molineux on Sunday to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Red Devils secured second position in the table on Tuesday night after Leicester City lost at Chelsea, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were disappointingly held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham at Old Trafford.

The 20-time English champions will now be aiming to put three points on the board ahead of the Europa League final against La Liga outfit Villarreal on May 26.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Wolves, who are currently 12th in the table.

Harry Maguire

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: May 26 (vs. Villarreal)

Harry Maguire suffered an ankle injury against Aston Villa on May 9, and the centre-back will again miss out against Wolves but has a slight chance of playing in the Europa League final.

Anthony Martial

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: May 26 (vs. Villarreal)

Anthony Martial has made strong progress in his recovery from a knee injury, and there is a chance that the France international could make the squad for the Europa League final.

Daniel James

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: May 23 (vs. Wolves)

Man United boss Solskjaer recently said that Daniel James would be out for a "little while" with an unspecified problem, but the Wales international is being tipped to return for this match.

Phil Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones continues to make progress in his recovery from a long-term knee injury, but the versatile defender will not be involved for the Red Devils in the latter stages of the 2020-21 campaign.

Fred

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: Wolves (May 23)

Solskjaer said after Tuesday's clash with Fulham that Fred had picked up an unspecified issue, making the Brazilian a doubt for this weekend's contest at Molineux.

Scott McTominay

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: May 23 (vs. Wolves)

Scott McTominay was forced off just past the hour against Fulham after picking up a knock, and the Scotland international is now a doubt for the clash with Wolves.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no players suspended for this match.
