Manchester United winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan was stretchered off during his side's 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this afternoon.
The 27-year-old was caught by a sliding challenge from Danny Rose in the final 10 minutes at Old Trafford and required treatment on the pitch before being carried off.
Mkhitaryan initially tried to walk off but could only manage a couple of paces before calling for the stretcher, having suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury.
The winger, making just his second league start, had earlier given his side the lead with his first Premier League goal and his first strike at Old Trafford, while he also became the first Armenian to ever score in the English top flight.
Mkhitaryan's goal proved to be enough to hand United all three points as they brought an end to a four-match winless streak in the league at Old Trafford.
