Stoke City boss Mark Hughes wants his side to follow up their league win over Chelsea by knocking Manchester United out of the Capital One Cup.
The Potters beat Jose Mourinho's side 3-2 in their last home fixture, and Hughes believes that playing at the Britannia Stadium could be key when United visit on Wednesday.
He admits that the Red Devils are the favourites ahead of the quarter-final showdown, but insists his side can come out on top and has called on the fans to show their support throughout the tie.
"We took the game to Chelsea and deserved our win," the Stoke boss told The Sentinel.
"Now we've got to continue in the same vein and, if we do, the crowd will really get behind us.
"If we can replicate the atmosphere against Chelsea, which I thought was fantastic, that can help us markedly."
Stoke last won the League Cup back in 1972, beating Manchester United along the way.
