Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has insisted that his players are fully focused on their looming League Cup clash with Ipswich Town this week.
Van Gaal suffered at the hands of a giant killing during his first season at United when the Red Devils were knocked out early on by the MK Dons.
However, the Dutchman has moved to state that his charges will be doing their best to ensure that the same does not happen again this campaign.
"We hope to play very well in this competition, that's why I want a fresh team and I hope we shall beat Ipswich Town," said Van Gaal, according to the Daily Star.
"Ipswich is a very good team. I have seen them playing, we have analysed this team, they have very good players and they play like a team.
"I want to win every match and Sunderland is the game after this match. Now I focus on this match we have to play and I have asked the players to do that in the same way because we have to beat Ipswich Town."
United currently hold second spot in the Premier League table after six games.
