The inclusion of Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one of five changes for Manchester United against West Ham United.

Manchester United have made five changes to their starting XI for this evening's League Cup quarter-final meeting with West Ham United, including a rare outing for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has also drafted in Luke Shaw, Michael Carrick, striker Anthony Martial and under-fire captain Wayne Rooney for the match at Old Trafford.

The changes see Matteo Darmian, Juan Mata, the suspended Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford all miss out against the Hammers.

Visitors West Ham have also made several changes from their last Premier League outing, with goalkeeper Adrian, Ashley Fletcher and Sofiane Feghouli all handed starts.

The Hammers have named an attacking lineup, with Dimitri Payet, Michail Antonio and Edimilson Fernandes leading the line.

Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Rojo, Jones, Shaw; Carrick, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Rooney; Martial, Ibrahimovic
Subs: Mata, Lingard, Blind, Rashford, Romero, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger

West Ham United: Adrian; Reid, Cresswell, Feghouli, Kouyate; Obiang, Ogbonna, Fletcher; Payet, Antonio, Fernands
Subs: Randolph, Nordtveit, Lanzini, Zaza, Noble, Collins, Masuaku
