Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Saturday, September 5.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Manchester United eye possible reinforcements.

The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Saturday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Agent David Lee discusses Jadon Sancho's proposed move to Manchester United

Agent David Lee has told Sports Mole that it should be relatively straightforward for Manchester United to agree personal terms and agency fees for Jadon Sancho during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils continue to be strongly linked with the England international, although talk of a switch to Old Trafford has quietened in recent weeks as Borussia Dortmund are adamant that he will not be leaving in the current market.

A recent report claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side could look to agree fees with the intermediaries involved in the deal before submitting an official bid to BVB.

Lee has said that United 'will not be shocked' by Sancho's salary or agency fees and should not have too much trouble agreeing personal terms with the 20-year-old.

"It should be an easy one really for the player's terms with Man United, he's a world-class player, probably one of the most exciting young players in the world so you know he is going to be top dollar for salary," Stellar agent Lee, who looks after the likes of Burnley's Nick Pope and Brighton & Hove Albion's Lewis Dunk, told Sports Mole.

"You have to pay the agent the going rate for a top player. I don't think Man United will be shocked when the agency fee or the player salary demands come in. I think they'll be anticipating where it will be, right at the top end of their budget."

Lee added "I don't think there'll be many" when asked whether he expected big-money deals to happen in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

Sancho, who scored 20 times and registered 20 assists in 44 outings for BVB last term, is currently with the England squad preparing for their upcoming UEFA Nations League clashes against Iceland and Denmark.

Manchester United 'may have to settle for Sergio Reguilon loan deal'

Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Sergio Reguilon as Real Madrid are only prepared to allow the defender to leave on loan this summer, according to a report.

Reguilon starred in the Sevilla team which achieved a top-four finish and a sixth Europa League crown in the 2019-20 season, making 38 appearances in total while on loan at Julen Lopetegui's side.

The Spaniard is now back in Madrid ahead of the new campaign, but with Ferland Mendy and Marcelo among the ranks on the left-hand side for Los Blancos, Reguilon could supposedly seek a move elsewhere this summer.

However, Sport claims that while Real manager Zinedine Zidane is happy to part ways with the left-back, the powers-that-be would rather see Reguilon depart on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

The report comes as a blow to United who are believed to have already submitted a £27m bid for Reguilon, but the Red Devils are still said to be at the head of the queue for the 23-year-old despite strong interest from other clubs.

Reguilon's current deal at the Bernabeu will run until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
