Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has wished Cristiano Ronaldo luck ahead of his second Manchester United debut.
Ronaldo is set to make his return as a Red Devil in Man United's Premier League game against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
As his time at Juve came to an end, the Portuguese international made it clear that he wanted to leave the club and Allegri did not start him in the opening Serie A fixture of the season against Udinese.
However, the Italian has no hard feelings towards Ronaldo.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Allegri said: "Ronaldo didn't want to play for Juventus anymore, so he returned to United. It would have been his last season at Juventus, so we anticipated what we would have done next summer.
"Cristiano spent three amazing years at Juventus and we wish him the best, but life goes on."
Ronaldo won two Serie A titles in his time in Italy, scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances for Juventus. body check tags ::
